Lou's Indie Book Blog

Look, it's a blog! I'm very excited and surprised to have created this thing for my website! I'm calling it Lou's Indie Book Blog for now until I come up with a better name (I'm open to suggestions). My hope is to use this section to connect with my readers and fans and perhaps give you a peek into the Cold War world of Daniel Guerrero. I would like to use this forum to try to answer any questions you may have about Daniel's journey - both past and future. And to consider any suggestions or ideas you may have.

Speaking of which, I was having dinner with an old friend last night whom I hadn't seen in a while, and he told me he had just finished reading The Ambassador's Apprentice. I was, of course, delighted and flattered and we proceeded to have a lovely conversation about the era in which the novel takes place. Since I happen to take a bit of pride in the accuracy of the story's timeline, setting, musical soundtrack, etc., I was surprised when my friend cited a scene where Ambassador Adlai Stevenson is looking out the window of his Waldorf Astoria penthouse office at Fifth Avenue below. He politely pointed out that this would not be possible as the Waldorf in New York City is on Park Avenue, two long blocks away from Fifth Avenue. Well, darn it if he's not right. Good catch! I promise to do a better job next time, and sincerest thanks for keeping me on my toes.

Well, that's all for now. I will look forward to your thoughts and please feel free to suggest my website to any friends or family who might be interested.

Be well.
